Having spent last year undertaking activities to gain a Bronze DofE Award, including football, horse riding, helping children, music, martial arts, camping, and hiking, students attended a presentation evening on 5th December, to formally celebrate their achievements.
Still undefeated in all cups so far this year! U12 go to County SF and Round 2 Nationals; U13 go to Round 4 Nationals and County QF; U15 go to County QF and Round 4 Nationals; U16 go to County QF and Round 3 Nationals; U18 go to Round 3 Nationals.
Students and staff took part in fun World Record Challenge attempts for Children in Need on Friday 23rd November, involving various amounts of flipping, spinning, jumping, and munching. Well done and thanks for all the support. We raised £143.88!
Sam (Year 9) and Leigh (Year 11) competed in the Springboard FutureChef Local Finals on Wednesday 21st November. They made a 2-course meal for under £7, and Leigh got an amazing score of 39/40! She'll be competing in the National Finals in January.
Congratulations to Lauren Oldale (BUX01), who was presented with a certificate and a prize of £100, by Dronfield Town Mayor, on Monday 12th November, for her essay entitled 'A Good Public Transport System is Essential For Towns Like Dronfield'.
